About the Artist

All things beautiful fascinate me, be it nature or the human spirit. 

The ever-changing landscape, birds, flowers, trees, gardens, mountains, water, clouds, everything in nature provide endless inspiration for my artistic creations.

I derive great pleasure in depicting the beauty of nature using oil, acrylic and watercolor mediums. I take advantage of the unique qualities of each medium and choose the medium that best compliments the subject.

• Won 2nd place award at the “Nature’s Palette - A still life and garden show” juried show at Main Street Art Gallery, Lake Zurich, IL-2025
• Honorable mention at the “Art of the Land” juried show, Starline Gallery, Harvard, IL - 2025

• "Recent Works" juried exhibition, Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art at College of Lake County, IL   
• Won award at the "SlowLife" photography contest to showcase the "Power of Plants". The photograph was displayed at the U.S. Botanic Garden, Washington D.C. and Chicago Botanic Garden as part of the traveling exhibition.
• 4th Place winner in the Beginner Category of the Annual North Light Book Club Cover Competition - 2005 
• "Vicinity" juried exhibition for artists in all media, Norris Gallery, St. Charles, IL  - 2005
